To Whom It May Concern:
May 23, 2007
I had a great experience a couple of weeks ago. I found myself in a yoga class at the Yoga Center of Medford. The teacher was unknown to me at the time, and so I wondered if she would be as good as the other excellent teachers I had found there.
Well, within minutes, I found myself having one of my best yoga experiences ever! Cheryl Feil is an amazing teacher. And I should know. One of my Master’s degrees is in education. I find teaching is as much art as method and technique. This woman is an artist and a teacher extraordinaire. Cheryl gave clear explanations of all the yoga poses and modifications that I would need with my current ‘weak spots’. She seemed to tune into the needs of all the other students as well.
Yoga can seem a little intimidating sometimes, if we have an internal expectation that we should be able to twist ourselves into a pretzel. However, with Cheryl Feil, yoga was so very relaxing and even fun!
Moreover, I did leave that class quite a bit more limber and flexible than when I walked in.
I encourage the reader to take a yoga class with Cheryl Feil. You will be glad you did.
Sincerely,
Karen Brash McGreer, RN, MED
