Clients and friends,
 
I am excited to share some of the latest BREAKTHRU news and some great health and fitness articles from our experts on a variety of topics related to this time of the year.  Your schedule may change and add some additional demands this time of the year, but please make some time for yourself and your personal health and fitness needs.   
 
First, I’d like to thank you for your loyalty and support over the last 5 years.  BREAKTHRU celebrated its 5 year birthday in June and we wouldn’t be here and growing without you.  
 
Second, I would like to introduce you to our outstanding staff now serving you in our three convenient locations. 
 
Michelle Palmer is a Physical Therapist who brings a lot of management and customer service expertise to BREAKTHRU in her role as our Director of Operations.  She supports the Directors of each facility and explains her role in this newsletter. 
 
Mimi Alamar is our Client Relations Specialist and is a liaison with the community.  Her energy is contagious and you will know it when you meet her.
 
Fares Issa, has joined us as our Director of Member services.  His important job is to ensure that you are having an experience ‘worth RAVING about’.  
 
Our newest center in Voorhees is off the ground and running. It is led by Director and Physical Therapist Ryan Cummings.  Ryan recently became Board Certified as a specialist in Orthopaedics.  When you come to Voorhees, expect to meet Physical Therapy Aides Suzanne McNabb and Tom Fliss.  Suzanne McNabb has extensive customer service and human resource experience.   Tom Fliss holds a degree in Anthropology and is preparing for Doctorate programs in Physical Therapy.    
 
Moorestown’s team is led by Director and Physical Therapist Kevin Schnitzer and now includes Patricia Spuler.  Patricia has her degree in Biokinetics and is preparing for Doctorate programs in PT. Kevin is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UMDNJ and Rutgers joint Doctorate in PT program and assisting in teaching Kinesiology this semester.  
 
Jeff Sallade is Medford’s Director and a Physical Therapist.   Jeff is preparing for his second Board Certification as a Sports Specialist.  We welcome Pat Ruppe, Physical Therapist who has joined us in Medford specializing in Spine and Orthopaedics with a variety of valuable experience.  He is currently completing his McKenzie Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy with a scheduled completion date of early 2010.  Executive Director and Physical Therapist Jodi Goldman has returned to treating patients after maternity leave.  She is currently completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and the McKenzie Certification with the expected completion date of May 2010 for both. You can learn more about the McKenzie approach in her newsletter article.  Jodi specializes in treating spine conditions, arthritis, and balance and movement disorders including Parkinson’s Disease.  Medford’s team also has been joined by PT/Fitness Aides Ryan Doolittle, Chad Bickel, and Jim Butz.  
 
BREAKTHRU’s massage department welcomes Diane Mora and Anna Patterson.  Diane and Anna are both Nationally certified Massage Therapists and graduates of the Lourdes Institute of Wholistic Studies.
