BREAKTHRU Friends and Family,
Let me first start by wishing everyone and their family a Happy and Healthy New Year!  Seems like it was just yesterday that temperatures were in the 90’s and people were talking about heading down to the shore….amazing how time flies!  It was really terrific catching up with many of you at our annual holiday party.  We have been working on a lot of things, all designed to increase the overall BREAKTHRU experience for you and have added some amazingly talented people to our team to serve you better and to help you achieve get results. Â
Â
Dr. Michele Strauss has joined us in Medford.  Michele graduated from Duke and Washington University in St. Louis, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Most recently, she served as PT and manager in the University of Pittsburgh health system.  In addition, Michele was an Adjunct Professor in University of Pittsburgh’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.Â
Dr. Bryn Werbos is a recent Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from Stockton College and has joined us in a part time and per diem capacity in Medford. Â You may remember her from her internship last year where she excelled. Â
Â
Caitlyn Fritzshce, currently a college student has joined us in Moorestown in the Physical Therapy Aide/Front Office role. Â She is working towards a career in Physical Therapy.
Carol McCarthy has an extensive and diverse background and has joined us in the Physical Therapy Aide/Front office role in our Moorestown center.
Anthony Ciccotelli, currently a college student and has joined us as a Physical Therapy Aide in our Voorhees center. Â Anthony is also applying to Physical Therapy programs in the near future. Â
Devon Marx, our new Yoga instructor in Voorhees has been doing an amazing job teaching classes for the past few weeks. Yoga class is held Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7pm in our Voorhees Fitness Center. Â I would highly encourage you to check out this class which is both a great workout and an excellent way to relax and unwind from your daily stresses.Â
Lauren Hajduk has joined our stress -relieving Massage team and is quickly creating some raving fans through her work. Her interest is in medical massage and she is developing herself in this area so she can collaborate with our physical therapists to treat clients with injuries, aches, and pains and help them return to their daily physical activities.Â
In addition, if you have visited our Medford Fitness Center lately, you have noticed some improvements taking place. Â We are creating an area where we can have a lot of fun and deliver great results. Â This area will focus on your bodyweight, TRX functional straps and kettle bells. Please come, check it out, and ask one of our trainers to give you hands on tour. Â Â
Please remember to stay active throughout the coming winter months. Â If there was one thing that could be prescribed to help the greatest number of people it would probably be physical activity . The winter months can present a challenge and if you are inactive, your health is at great risk. Â Please make some time for yourself this year and take advantage of the opportunity to visit our centers and speak with our certified Personal Trainers and our Doctors of Physical Therapy about plans and strategies to keep you healthy and active during this time.Â
Yours in health,
Dr. Lance Knaub
Doctor of Physical Therapy/Owner
