Allison Henderson graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor in Science in Physiology. She then attended the Richard Stockton College of NJ where she earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, pediatric outpatient, acute care, sub-acute care, and transitional care. Allison particularly enjoys working in the outpatient setting where she has opportunity to treat a variety of patient conditions and utilize a multitude of treatment techniques.

Enhancing her knowledge and skill set with numerous continuing education courses, Allison is dedicated to the advancement of the Physical Therapy field and the best evidence based practice. Her courses have included research in lumbar spine mobilization and manipulation, examination and treatment of lumbar spine/low back pain, the Graston Technique, release with fascialization, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and ankle problems, and interventions for mobilization of the nervous system.

Allison is particularly interested in the advancement of spine rehabilitation and is a strong advocate in Pilates-based methods in rehabilitation to build a strong core and enhance overall wellness. Additionally, she believes that wellness and whole health can be better achieved through a variety of methods including holistic health care treatments including the incorporation of fitness, yoga, massage, meditation, acupuncture, and herbal medicine which compliment Physical Therapy care.

When not working with patients, Allison can be found enjoying the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. Some of her interests include traveling, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, camping, dancing, and photography. Allison also speaks Spanish.
