Sasha has been practicing physical therapy for 15 years. She received her BA from Russell Sage College in Dance Therapy. Her personal experience as a dancer coupled with her undergraduate training gives her a unique insight into the special rehabilitative needs of those in dance, gymnastics, and related disciplines.
Sasha earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University. Following graduation, she was quickly recruited by Pennsylvania Hospital. Looking to expand her skills, she left Philadelphia to work as a travelling physical therapist. Licensed in 11 states, and working with a wide range of age groups, ailments, and settings, Sasha developed combinations of manual therapy, appropriate exercises, and patient education that quickly returned her patients to optimal health and prevented future injury.
She is recognized as a specialty provider for Parkinson's disease and movement disorders by her certification in LSVT BIG; which is an innovative and clinically-proven method for improving mobility and function in individuals with Parkinson disease, as well as aging and other conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome.
Sasha is a Mastery Certified Manual Therapist (MCMT). She is also a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association and was certified in weight training. She has successfully served as manager for private orthopaedic clinics and for the past 8 years has been the director of rehabilitation services for two hospitals in upstate New York.
Sasha lives in Voorhees with her husband and 2 children. When not working, Sasha enjoys dancing, skiing with her kids, and playing the piano.
